How do I know advertising in Tidbits will work for me?
Tidbits can’t guarantee results. However, Tidbits works well for many of our current advertisers. The proof is that a number of our advertisers continue to renew their advertisement contracts year after year. While we don’t guarantee results, we can guarantee that people will see your ad because our readers read Tidbits from cover to cover. It is not a “flip through” paper. Our readers actually read the entire paper, including the ads. If you have a product or service people want, your ad would likely do well in Tidbits. Remember that the majority of our content is not time-sensitive, giving Tidbits and your ad a very long shelf life!

Do you charge to create an ad?
No. Tidbits does not charge set-up fees, ad layout fees, or fees for revisions. There are no discounts for ads that are already created and sent to us.

How do your ad prices compare with other publications?
Tidbits advertising is extremely economical. The cost to advertise in Tidbits is less than one-tenth of one cent per impression. This is the lowest cost per impression of any other prominent weekly or monthly paper in the metro area.

What do you charge for color ads?
There is an additional charge of 20% per week for ads on “color pages”.

What discounts do you offer for longer term contracts?
We provide a 20% discount for a 12-week contract, a 25% discount for a 26-week contract, and a 30% discount for a 52-week contract.

What is your payment policy?
We require full payment of a contract for first-time advertisers at the time the contract is signed. When an ad contract is renewed, we then will bill monthly on a net-15 day basis. The exception is for first-time advertisers signing a 52-week contract; in this instance, we will bill half the amount at the contract inception and the remainder 4 weeks later.

What are your deadlines?
We have two deadlines in order to be in the following week’s edition of Tidbits. We need to have a contract signed and an ad roughed out and submitted by Wednesday close of business. We’ll get the developed ad back to you Thursday morning for review (via the Internet or on hard copy) and need to have either approval or changes by Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

How often can I change my ad?
You can change your ad as often as you want; however, we recommend that you don’t change the ad more than every 3-4 weeks since multiple impressions of an offer, product or service generate the greatest results.

Can I get a copy of Tidbits when I advertise?
We send out a weekly copy of Tidbits to each advertiser who requests it at no additional cost.

Where do you get your content?
Tidbits Media, Inc. provides the well-researched facts and historical trivia behind each week's issue of Tidbits. Puzzles, cartoons and weekly columns come from King Features Syndications. And much of the good-taste humor you've learned to expect from Tidbits comes right from our readers.
